Apple’s latest 27-inch iMac is $ 200 off Amazon

The biggest warning to this deal is that Amazon will have stock at the end of February at the time of writing this. You can order it now and get the sale price, but you have to wait a month to receive it.

This iMac is a modest upgrade over the previous model, including a new CPU and GPU, as well as camera and audio enhancements. In particular, Apple has finally transferred some features that you might have thought the iMac already had, such as the True Tone display technology and the T2 security chip. The former automatically adjusts the colors of the screen based on the lighting in your area and the latter allows for encrypted storage and ‘Hey Siri’ commands.

The new iMac also has an updated 1080p webcam and improved microphones and speakers. Previous webcams had a maximum of 720p, so the new model can serve you better if you still hold a bunch of work-from-home video meetings. The trio of microphones are pretty standard, but according to Engadget’s Dana Wollman, they did a decent job of blocking the environmental noise. The speaker also has deeper bass, which will make small desk concerts a little more lively.

Aside from the differences, the new 27-inch iMac is very much the same as previous models. It has a beautiful 5K Retina display, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, four USB-A ports and a Gigabit Ethernet port, and it comes with the standard Magic Keyboard and Mouse 2 combination. While it’s a chase that you have to wait so long to get it, it’s a good option to consider if you’ve been watching the latest iMac.
