Following the arrival of the M1 MacBook Pro and M1 MacBook Air in the Apple Refurbished Store, Apple today began selling the revamped M1 Mac mini. Customers can now get all three Macs with M1 chips at a discounted price in the Refurbished Store.
The cheapest model of the revamped M1 Mac mini currently available has 256 GB SSD storage and 16 GB RAM. While this model costs $ 899, you can buy the same model now in the Apple Refurbished Store for $ 759 – a discount of $ 140.
Apple now offers five different refurbished models of the M1 Mac mini, which you can see below:
- $ 759 (off of $ 899): M1 Mac mini with 256 GB SSD and 16 GB RAM
- $ 929 (starting from $ 1099): M1 Mac mini with 512 GB SSD and 16 GB RAM

- $ 1439 (starting from $ 1699): M1 Mac mini with 1 TB SSD and 16 GB RAM
Apple Certified Refurbishment Products are pre-used Apple products that undergo the rigorous refurbishment process of Apple before being offered for sale. Although only a few units are returned due to technical issues, Apple is undergoing the rigorous refurbishment process of Apple. Renovated units are shipped in a special box with all original accessories and a one-year limited warranty.
Some iMac models are currently unavailable
On a related note, MacRumors noted that some models of the 21.5-inch 4K iMac are currently not available at Apple. Models with 512 GB or 1 TB SSD storage are not in stock, although the base model with 256 GB storage is still available.
It’s unclear whether Apple is facing issues and whether the shortfall is related to the launch of new iMacs. Recent rumors suggest that sometime this year, Apple will be announcing new iMacs with a new colorful Pro Display XDR-inspired design and Apple Silicon chips instead of Intel processors.
