Apple may go with the iPhone 12S in the old school

Although the iPhone 12 series has the most important design change in three years, but it still retains the iPhone X level. Meanwhile, most Android providers have switched to pinhole screens, and some have even released all screen phones pop up and under-display cameras. Apparently, the next iPhone, according to a report, will be the iPhone 12S, will also remove the notch.

According to tipster Mauri QHD, one of the current prototypes does not have a notch, which is not necessarily good news, as they add that the unit has slightly larger edges than the iPhone 12.

Does this mean that the iPhone 12S has a thick top edge instead of a notch? This sounds unlikely, as several reliable sources claim that the next generation will not be such a big room in terms of design. According to these reports, the 2021 iPhones will have slightly smaller notches than current phones. It is understood that the notch is reduced in height, not in width. The new devices are also expected to have thicker hair, presumably to make room larger batteries.
The iPhone 12S (13) is only expected in September, so Apple may not have locked the design yet. After all, it is unlikely that the new phones will return to a full design. 2017’s iPhone 8 was Apple’s last flagship phone with such a design. The iPhone SE of 2020 does not exactly have modern aesthetics, but it is a budget phone.

Could the iPhone 12S prototype indicate something else?

It could be that the aforementioned prototype is a camera that is not displayed. Patents filed by Apple indicate that the company wants to place sensors under the screen to eliminate the notch. Tipster Ice Universe has already said that the iPhone’s notch may “disappear without a trace” in 2021.
Most reports also indicate that the following iPhones will appear Touch ID displayed below. Face ID is not going anywhere because it is also considered useful for augmented reality and photography.
