Apple Maps now shows COVID-19 vaccination sites

Apple updated Apple Maps today with COVID-19 vaccination sites from VaccineFinder, a free, online service developed by Boston Children’s Hospital that offers the latest vaccine availability for eligible US drugstores and pharmacies . Users can find COVID-19 vaccination sites in the search bar on Apple Maps by selecting COVID-19 vaccines from the Nearby Search menu or by asking Siri: “Where can I get a COVID vaccination?”

The Apple Maps map card for each vaccine includes working hours, address, phone numbers, and a link to the provider’s website, where Maps users can learn more about available vaccinations and book appointments. The initial launch includes more than 20,000 sites, with Apple adding more sites in the coming weeks.

Along with the information provided by VaccineFinder, healthcare providers, laboratories, or other businesses can submit information about COVID-19 test or vaccination locations on the Apple Business Register page. Once validated, Apple may display information about the test or vaccination sites to people using Apple services such as Apple Maps.
