Apple launches fun new Apple Watch Series 6 ad showing ECG usage in everyday life

AdAdge has shared a new Apple Watch Series 6 ad focusing on ECG functionality. The ad shows how a user takes an ECG in all sorts of environments, and points out that you no longer have to make an appointment to go to the doctor to take one.

This ad is part of Apple’s “The Future of Health is on Your Wrist” campaign that they ran, highlighting different health features of the watch. AdAge notes that Apple has spent about $ 4.7 million to broadcast the ad on television. So far, it has not appeared on Apple’s YouTube channel, but iSpot has noted that it is expected to be shared on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

ECG was an important new feature added to Apple Watch Series 4, so it’s interesting to see that they focus so strongly on it almost two years later. Many existing users already have access to these features. However, Apple Watch Series 6 is the only current generation Apple Watch that has ECG support. Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 3 do not support ECG.

You can go to AdAge or iSpot to view the ad. Let us know what you think in the comments below!
