Apple fans are thrilled with the fantastic iPhone hack of this TikToker – BGR

  • A recently upgraded iPhone hack shows how users can quickly rearrange multiple apps on their home screen at once.
  • The handy trick makes it much easier for people to set up their iPhone exactly the way they want.

As an avid iPhone user for over a decade, I typically do not encounter iPhone tips and tricks I have not yet encountered. And certainly, new tricks and solutions inevitably bubble to the surface every time Apple launches a new version of iOS, but these discoveries are usually slowly but surely dug up during the beta release period.

But every time in a blue moon a new trick will appear out of nowhere and blow me away. And today, my friends, is one of those days. The most recent example comes to us from all places via TikTok. The trick in question offers users an incredibly efficient way to move apps en masse to a completely different phone screen. The tip is a lifesaver for anyone who wants to reorganize the layout of their iPhone or iPad.

For example, say you want to move 8 applications from your home screen to the second page of apps on your device. Normally you press on an app and select the option “Edit Home Screen” in the context menu. Once the apps have started rolling out, manually drag each application one by one from the home screen to the second app page. Needless to say, it can get boring quickly, especially if you try to move apps from the home screen to, say, the fifth page of apps on your iPhone.

However, with this iPhone trick, you can select multiple applications at once and move it to another page at the same time. Here’s how it works.

To get started, long press the app icon until the context menu appears. From there, select the “Edit Home Screen” option. Once the applications start wrapping, push the application you want to move to another page and move it slightly in any direction. You need to make sure you keep your finger pressed all the time. From there, with your finger still on the screen, take your other finger and simply tap on every other application you want to move to another page. If you do, you will see that each recently touched application is flown to the location of the first app icon. It looks like you’re adding all the apps to a folder, but this is not the case.

After selecting each app you want to move to, drag the collection of app icons to the right or left, depending on which page you want to move it to. If you do, all the selected programs will appear on the new page again.
