Apple extends Apple TV +’s free trials again, and subscribers now get free access until July 2021

Apple is again extending the free trial period for the free TV trial reports of Apple TV + with hardware. With the latest announcement, anyone with an Apple TV + subscription that would expire from now until June would rather expire in July 2021.

This means that customers who used the ‘year-free’ agreement when the service was first launched will now have another 9 months of free access to Apple’s original apps and movies.

The first TV + expansion was announced in October, pushing the first wave of free trial renewals through February. The new extension means that anyone who has not yet canceled their subscription can use it for free for an additional six months.

Any current customers with free trial runs that will end in the period February to June will now see the renewal of subscriptions until July. Similarly, customers with an annual subscription that expires between February and June will receive the same additional months of service at no extra cost.

Apple will notify all eligible customers via email within the next few weeks. Like last time, the company reimburses the following subscribers with credit repayments.

Any paying subscriber on Apple TV +’s monthly plan from today, January 15, will receive $ 4.99 store credit for the period February through June, which will reimburse the cost of their subscription. The same goes for people who are currently paying for the Apple One bundle subscription.

The second expansion round gives Apple more time to expand the offering of Apple TV + content and increase the value offering of the service, as the company releases new flagship series and movies, as well as the second seasons of its popular launches.

Upcoming titles include the highly anticipated film ‘Cherry’ starring Tom Holland, the second season of For All Mankind, and more. You can see the announced roadmap for Apple TV + content in our extensive guide here.
