Although it seems like we’re still more than a few years out before Apple Car can reach the world, the excitement increases as we get more information. Now, a graphic designer has created a sharp Apple Car concept that imagines what it would look like with a large 15-inch mid-range screen like Tesla uses with its Model 3 and Model Y.
Graphic designer John Calkins shared the Apple Car concept “Cars” on Behance yesterday. It’s based on the idea that ‘if Apple made the Model 3’? Although it has already been confirmed that Apple is in talks with car manufacturers such as Hyundai and Elon Musk himself said that Tim Cook turned down a meeting of the purchase of Tesla years ago, it is still a fun experiment to think how An Apple Car interior can look like. . After all, Tesla makes probably the most compelling center console / media experience in the automotive industry.
Apple Car Concept: what if Apple makes the Tesla Model 3?
John’s concept is like portraying CarPlay on steroids – in a wonderful way. Model 3 uses a 15-inch center touch screen, so it’s like bringing a MacBook Pro to a car and mixing the rest of the necessary car interfaces with what we now have with CarPlay.
This Apple Car concept uses a dock on the left like CarPlay features now, but with this screen size it feels more like MacOS Big Sur, mixed with a larger iPad Pro.
Car and ride visualization and overall layout were inspired by Tesla’s existing experience here, but with Apple’s polish and attention to detail.
