Apple again extends TV Plus trials until July

According to 9to5Mac, Apple will extend its free year-long trial runs of its TV Plus service to customers until July 2021. The trials were originally on the purchase of any Apple device (e.g. an iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV) will last until November 1, 2020. This is the second extension, the first of which runs from November 2020 to February 2021.

Subscribers who had free subscriptions that would expire at any time from February 2021 to June 2021 will also be extended until July. The expansion is due to delays in production. Only one of the applications that launched the service (Dickinson) had its second season premiere, while others – such as For all mankind, The Morning Show, en See – still waiting for their second seasons to come out.

Display productions delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic are no surprise, and it’s a nice gesture to extend the trial. Viewers probably want to start watching the second seasons of their favorite shows before deciding if the service is worth $ 4.99 a month, and the expansion gives them the opportunity to do so. After all, there is not much use in a TV subscription service as some programs contain only 12 episodes.
