Respawn Entertainment released a new Apex Legends patch today! The update of Apex Legends 1.59, February 22, is now available on all platforms and should not contain any new content, as season 8 just started a few weeks ago.

No official patch notes have been released yet, but here are the new things solved by Respawn Entertainment:

Up front: the heirloom suit from the @PlayApex Anniversary Collection Event had an error.
It inadvertently resets the ‘counter’ that you get every 500 packets of heirlooms. Only people who opened the heirloom before 2pm PT on 2/10 were affected because the error was corrected.
We are working on a correction to repair the counters of the players’ “bad luck protection” (including additional packages that have been opened since the bug).
If the mistake you made in getting your 500th pack rewarded, you will receive a pack of heirlooms.
We are also going to give affected players 5 Apex Packs for their effort. We will update when the solution is rolled out and we have confirmed that it works properly.
UPDATE: A solution has been unveiled for yesterday’s reported issues around the @PlayApex heirloom “accident protection”. Those affected’s counters were restored to the correct value and 5 Apex packs were awarded for their effort.
Also on the official Apex Legends Trello board, the latest issue ‘Solved’ is the following article that was posted in the Posted on February 12:
- Legend Banter VO does not play as intended.
