Apex Legends Switch News Coming Soon, Respawn Entertainment Says

According to a recent YouTube video and Amazon presentation, Respawn Entertainment’s free game for Battle Royale Apex Legends arrives next month on February 2nd.

Although there is no official confirmation from EA yet, the game’s director, Chad Grenier, has now responded to a question on Twitter asking when the Switch version of the game will be released. Apparently, Nintendo fans can expect news very soon. Here is the full exchange:

Apex Legends was originally scheduled to launch on the Switch last year until Respawn decided to postpone the game in October. Grenier said it is to ensure the team does the Switch version ‘justice’.

There is also news about the Japanese retail release via GoNintendo. It’s a little surprising that it’s filled with ‘digital’ content only ‘and does not contain a game card.
