Apex Legends Season 9 Contains Tons of Titanfall Content

Although we have not had a proper entry in the Titanfall series since 2016, Apex Legends’ ninth season will have a ton of Titanfall back in the game somehow. Respawn’s Apex Legends developers appear on a panel hosted by BrownGirlGamerCode and discuss how Titanfall fans ‘have a really cool thing’ to look forward to.

“Next season, season 9, you’re actually going to see a ton of Titanfall come back somehow,” Apex Legends director Chad Grenier promised. ‘I’m already told some people, if you’re a Titanfall fan, keep going for season 9, because there’s going to be really cool stuff. ”Apex’s senior author Ashley Reed discussed how both Apex Legends and Titanfall are inherently attached to each other, and how this next step is merely a natural evolution.

“What’s going on in Titanfall is a war. Apex is what happens after the war, like what life is like in this place? ‘ Reed explained. “So we’re trying to integrate Titanfall into that, because Titanfall is a big part of the universe.”

Titanfall weapons and the massive Leviathans / Moyais can already be seen in Apex Legends, but it seems to be something more. While anything is possible, those hoping for real giant mechanisms in Apex should fall from the sky, remember that Respawn mentioned earlier that there are a large number of ways to prototype titans in this game. The reality was that it was an incredible balance. “

Titans or not, there should be exciting news for Titanfall and Apex Legends fans in the future, and a little clearer news following Respawn’s comments in 2019 that he is not currently working on Titanfall 3.
