Apex Legends is in the final series of season 7, which is now ready for season 8. This means that Respawn is starting to roll out teasers for the next Legend, possible new modes and even another planet.
On January 15, Apex Legends released a new version of the classic Kings Canyon map. Thereupon, Mirage Voyage was back, but there were also some interesting teasers in the air.
Then, later that day, they posted on social media what our first idea looks like about what’s coming in season 8.
In this new teaser, Salvo is mentioned, which we have already heard about in Apex Legends. It also features a handshake – and the hands are possibly our first look at the Season 8 Legend.
Season 8 teaser
This teaser was not in the game, but rather posted on the official Apex Legends Twitter and Instagram accounts. The headline was ‘New Blood’ – possibly a hint for ‘new blood’ that joined the Apex games.
In the teaser, we see a handshake between someone representing the planet Salvo, and someone representing the Syndicate. If you are not aware of this, the Syndicate is the people behind the Apex Games.
The text reads “The Syndicate and Salvo … United at Last. Approved by the Committee of the Unit Council. If you are confused about what this means, we will explain below. The image is then stamped with the logo of Salvo MC (presumably Salvo Motorcycle Club).

What is Salvo in Apex Legends?
Salvo is another planet abroad, and one that has so far been independent of the syndicate. The most important information we have about Salvo comes from a letter that stood on Wattson’s desk. The letter reads:
‘I am writing to inform you that Salvo – who rejected the mercenary’s position to join Syndicate Space in 2722 – is now being led by new leaders to the cause of peace abroad.
The talks with this new government were long but ultimately fruitful; Today, the Treaty on the Mercenary Syndicate was amended, and Salvo will become the seventh world to join Syndicate Space.
Salvo bring along [redacted]. In the coming [redacted] Office of Public Relations will build a social institution [redacted] to eliminate inaccuracies [redacted] to create an appropriate [redacted] for their integration into the syndicate, [redacted] include exciting new developments within the Apex Games.
At the moment does not agree with the legends regarding this matter. Expect further instructions [redacted] our office in the coming days. ”

The letter on Wattson’s desk told us about Salvo and the Syndicate.
Is Salvo a new card?
This is unlikely, at least for now. After all, we just got a new card for season 7. Salvo is also a planet, rather than a single place (e.g. Olympus is a city on the planet Psamathe).
Season 8 Legend
Salvo is more likely the home planet of the new Legend, which according to miners will be called Fuse, and whose capabilities are about explosives (which will actually include the name ‘salvo’.)
Another tip is the spaceship we can now see above the map on Kings Canyon and Olympus. The ship has a message that reads: ‘Salvo joins syndicate’.

Expect to see some more teasers about Season 8, Salvo and the new Legend in the coming weeks. Season 8 begins in early February to join the two-year anniversary of Apex Legends.
