Apex Legends coming soon to the Nintendo Switch. Today, EA announced that the portable version of its sci-fi battle will make its royal debut on the Nintendo tablet on March 9th.
Chad Grenier, Apexa game director, says the new version will include ‘platform game, our latest seasonal content, and full feature parity with the other versions of the game.’ Apex Legends originally launched in early 2019, and a Switch version was announced last June. It was developed by Respawn, the studio behind games like Titanfall and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
The Switch version does not start long after the eighth season of the game launched today. To make up the difference, EA says that “since we start a few weeks after the start of the eighth season, 30 players will be getting free for their player pass for season eight. The first two weeks after the launch will be playing Switch also earn double XP. ”
Nintendo’s device is gradually becoming an excellent portable option for some of the biggest free-to-play multiplayer games Apex by titles such as Fortnite, Rocket League, en Spellbreak.
