Apex Legends is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 9, developer Respawn announced.
Director Chad Grenier wrote in a blog post that the Switch version of Apex Legends with platform functionality, season 8 content and ‘full feature parity’ will start with other versions.
Worried that you are already behind during the current season? The good news is that Switch players who purchase the battle pass for season 8 will receive 30 battle pass levels for free. Players also earn double XP during the first two weeks after launch.
“Carrying Apex Legends on its smallest screen so far is a great achievement, and we would not be able to do it without our friends at Panic Button,” said Grenier. “We are very proud of what the team was able to achieve with some smart optimizations for the Switch port to deliver a complete Apex Legends experience on the go.”
Apex Legends season 8 kicked off today with the arrival of its 16th character, demolition enthusiast Fuse, a new leverage rifle and the usual range of new cosmetics and assault gear items.
