Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez blasted first-year GOP rep Nancy Mace as a scam artist who was cut from the same canvas as former President Trump for collecting the “fake” experience of the New York Democrat with the January 6 riot .
Ocasio-Cortez responded to a tweet from a CNN reporter that Mace was raising funds through her ‘false insinuation’ that Ocasio-Cortez was lying about how close rioters were to their nearby offices.
“Quite awful,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted in response Saturday. “Well, it’s good to know what person she’s early on. Also good to know that Mace was cut from the same Trump cloth of dishonesty and opportunism.”

In Mace’s fundraising email to fans, she doubles that Ocasio-Cortez adorns the danger she faced on January 6th. ‘[U]Unlike AOC, I’m dealing with facts, not fiction, ” reads the email asking for donations to ‘stand up against AOC’.
