THE ANGELS – Anthony Davis will not play the home side against the Minnesota Timberwolves in a contest on the right back, said Los Angeles Lakers coach Frank Vogel, despite the practice.

Vogel indicates that Davis suffered the inaugural nightmare against the Clippers, and that he wanted to aggravate the third quarter of the Lakers’ victory over Navidad on the Dallas Mavericks.
Davis, of 27 years, is averaging 23 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in the first games of the season.

Vogel says the Lakers have no established policy on how to play against their greats, Davis and LeBron James, in ‘back-to-backs’ this season.
“We’re going to get one of them for the rest of the year, case by case,” Vogel said. “And with the expectation that many of us will play both parties, even if it has a different reason. And in this case, there is a different reason with Anthony’s pantorrilla. We will continue evaluating it throughout the year”.
