Another TikTok user has found himself in a tough situation – and some viewers say it’s a shameless stunt for viral fame.
Avani Reyes, 20, said she went to the hospital after she accidentally put Gorilla Glue in her hair in a video she posted to TikTok. This is the latest beauty accident with the heavy adhesive going viral.

“I do not know what to do. It was an accident. I did not want to put Gorilla glue in my hair,” Reyes posted in a clip on the social media platform, adding that the glue burned her scalp and was not. does not come off when she tries to remove it. Reyes posted a video of her trying to comb her pink hair.

Reyes’ beauty flaw comes a week after Louisana woman Tessica Brown, now known as’ Gorilla Glue girl ‘, went viral because she could not get the Gorilla Glue she used to style her hair, after the hairspray run out. She later removed it through surgery. But skeptical commentators are calling out Reyes on the app because he appeared to copy Brown.
“Are you just kidding the other person who did it or did it really happen? Anyway, that’s wrong. You went to the hospital and wasted (sic) time there,” one of the TikTok users said according to the New York Post said.
“You did it willingly after it happened to the lady and you have the audacity to ask people,” one user told the New York Post.
Brown recounted her experience in the emergency in Chalmette, La, where the adhesive was allegedly removed with sterilized water and nail polish remover blocks, she revealed in a photo shared on Instagram. The first track she shared with followers was viewed more than 35 million times.

Reyes, meanwhile, updated followers, saying she was told to use olive oil, coconut oil or tea tree oil to get the glue out. She said she tried to use the coconut oil, but that she did not remove the sticky stuff.

Brown and her sister set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for Brown’s medical bills, which raised more than $ 5,000 after an outpouring of TikTok viewers and celebrities shared their support.
