Another 447 cases of COVID-19, 17 deaths were reported in Utah on Friday

The Utah Department of Health’s COVID-19 report for Friday shows an increase of 447 confirmed cases – bringing the state’s total to 380,787 – and 17 additional deaths.
So far, 2,320,731 people in Utah have been tested for the disease. The running average of 7 days for positive tests is 474 per day.
The 7-day moving average for percentage positivity of “people above people” is 8.3%. The running average of 7 days for percentage positivity of ‘tests above tests’ is 4.2%.
A total of 1,111,185 vaccines have now been administered in Utah.
176 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
2058 people in Utah died from COVID-19. The 17 deaths announced on Friday are:

    • between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at death
    • between 65-84, Iron County resident, hospitalized at death
    • older than 85, resident of Tooele Province, admitted to hospital at death
    • older than 85, resident of Cache County, resident for long term care
    • between 15-24, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at death (this person was over 18)
    • between 65-84, resident of Washington County, hospitalized at death
    • between 65-84, resident of Davis County, hospitalized at death
    • Salt Lake County resident over the age of 85, long-term care resident
    • between 65-84, resident of Washington County, hospitalized at death
    • between 45-64, resident of Davis County, hospitalized at death
  • 7 females
    • between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at death
    • between 25-44, resident of Cache County, hospitalized at death
    • between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at death
    • between 45-64, resident of Uintah County, hospitalized at death
    • between 65-84, resident of Washington County, hospitalized at death
    • between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at death
    • between 65-84, resident of Weber County, hospitalized at death

Twelve of these deaths occurred before February 19, 2021, according to the Friday report.
