Riverside County has once again lowered the minimum age to make an appointment for coronavirus vaccination at one of its clinics, this time from 75 to 65.
From Monday 8 February, residents aged 65 and over can make an appointment – 10,000 slots were available early Monday afternoon – at a clinic run by the province. Places include Perris, Menifee, Corona, Hemet, Beaumont and Indio.
Online appointments can be made by visiting www.rivcoph.org/COVID-19-Vaccine-with-Registration. Those who speak Spanish or are struggling to call online can call 211 or 951-329-4703.
The province’s online registration link directs users to a state registration portal. Appointments may not be available by the time someone completes the portal registration process.
Appointments and proof of age are required to be vaccinated.
