Anne, Camilla, Catherine and Sophie take a turn to visit The Queen so she’s not alone – Royal Central

The royal family has agreed to a rotation system that will ensure that the queen is not alone after the death of Prince Philip.

Led by Princess Anne, the rota will assign members of the royal family to Windsor Castle at certain times to hold the monarch company.

The easing of the closure restrictions over the past week means that it is now possible for various members of Her Majesty’s family to visit her residence, as long as the rules are adhered to on the day.

According to The Daily Mirror, the royals will hang out with The Queen with their dogs in Windsor at a social distance.

The plans were made by The Princess Royal together with the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Countess of Wessex.

Wednesday is the first time the queen has celebrated her nearly eight decades without Prince Philip being by her side.

The royal family will really be around her in the days, weeks and months ahead so she does not become lonely.

On her 95th birthday herself, the queen is expected to go for a walk with her corgi puppies to be alone with her thoughts.
