Nintendo has announced a makeup range in collaboration with cosmetics brand ColourPop. The new collection will be inspired by characters from Animal crossing: new horizons.
ColourPop only releases a taster via the Nintendo of America Twitter account and is currently overseeing most of this collection. What has been confirmed is at least four palettes in pink, green, purple and brown – with a few Animal transition‘s most beloved characters.
With fun shades inspired by the paradise life on the island, the @ColourPopCo x Animal Crossing: New Horizons makeup collection adds some new colors to your look on 28/28! #ColourPopxAnimalCrossing

Tom Nook and his nephews decorate a green palette with four panels, while the Able Sisters get one in purple. The two owls in the museum, Celeste and Blathers, appear on an orange and brown palette, and Isabelle gets her own in bright pink.
The photo also gives an indication of some jelly shadows, lip crayons and a number of items being played around the Bells currency. Given their extensive collaboration with brands from Disney Princesses to The Mandalorian, there are probably many more items to be announced.
The collection begins on January 28, a full ten months later Animal crossing: new horizons‘release. This is ColourPop’s first collaboration with a brand for video games, but their attention to detail in previous collections means that every item will be creative.
After a year of bestseller lists on sites like Amazon and the Nintendo Store, Animal crossing: new horizons still going strong. Recently, The PokeCenter of the Pokémon games recreated on one user Animal crossing: new horizons island.
This is far from the first Animal transition island to get inspiration from the real world. Last year, an official KFC island took place, and an island dedicated to President Joe Biden.
