And Mario Kart 8: Deluxe is number 2. Again.
Another week, another triumph for Nintendo in the British box.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is again number 1 for the fourth time this year, despite a 13% drop in sales. Mario Kart 8: Deluxe remains at number 2 for the second consecutive week, with sales of 1%.
It was almost a top three from Nintendo, but Ring Fit Adventure missed out on third place with just 52 units. Sales of the fitness game increased week-on-week by 34%, but Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War could not completely overturn it, despite an 8% drop.
The only major new boxing match to appear this year (so far) is Hitman 3, and the match is now lower at number 17 with a 54% week-to-week drop.
There was one new game in the cards, and that is Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthbound at No.36. The game was published by Maximum Games in the United Kingdom.
It’s a pretty quiet start to the year for the game market, but there’s an important new game coming next week in the form of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury for Nintendo Switch. That match will definitely be the best selling boxing match next week.
