Following the Animal crossing: new horizonsan update of version 1.8.0 last week, Nintendo has now finally made the full patch notes available.
This update especially adds the Super Mario 35-year-old collaboration items. In addition, there are ‘limited time’ seasonal items available at Nook Shopping. Last but not least is a fix for an issue that popped up in the previous update and some other tweaks to improve the experience.
Below are the full notes, thanks to the game’s official support page:
Far. 1.8.0 (Released February 25, 2021)
The software has been updated as “Ver. 1.8.0” in the upper right corner of the title screen.
General updates
- Collaboration items have been added as part of the Super Mario Bros. 35-year existence. These items can be ordered from Nook Shopping from 1 March 2021.
- The following content has also been added:
- Additional seasonal articles of limited time from Nook Shopping.
Fixed issues
- A Problem of Ver. 1.7.0 where if a user selected their own user icon after an online or local wireless multiplayer session, followed by ‘Search for users you played with’ in the ‘Add friend’ menu, the Nintendo username Switch for the other player would be displayed under “Name in the game” when the player was selected from “Users you played with”.
- Other adjustments and corrections have been made to improve the player experience.
Along with it all, you will receive a wallpaper mural by mail. It appears that the Warp Pipe item included in this update also allowed players to regain access to the forbidden fourth level in the game.
