Before a new Animal transition: New horizons update on February 25, Nintendo finally gave a look at the upcoming Super Mario Bros. crossover event. The announcement was made Wednesday during Nintendo’s live presentation, but you can watch the clip above.

In essence, these collaborative items can be used to create your own playable Super Mario Bros. levels in New horizons – with interactive elements such as question blocks, flags and warp pipes Yes, that’s right; Nintendo adds useful warp pipes New horizons. Place two, and you can use the warp pipes to move between them. Of course, there are plenty of Super Mario Bros. outfits, too, and yes, there’s Wario.
Other items include mushrooms, collectible coins, stars, Whomp blocks and bricks, plus various rugs and murals to put in your home. Although the update will take place on February 25, the Super Mario Bros. cross items will be available on March 1 via Nook Shopping.
This is not the first time we’ve seen Super Mario themed items in the Animal Crossing franchise – it’s a tradition since the original Animal transition. Items from Super Mario Bros. has since appeared in all games, including the mobile title Animal crossing: pocket camp.
