Animal Crossing fans want to pay close attention to Build-A-Bear tomorrow. The recently announced Animal Crossing: New Horizons Build-A-Bear collection will be for sale from Tuesday 6 April. At the moment we have no idea which characters appear in the collection. It’s probably safe to say we’ll see famous villagers like Tom Nook and Isabelle. Given the popularity of Animal Crossing, we expect the soft fluff to be a hot commodity and may become difficult to buy.

Build-A-Bear is known for its design plushies that you can fill with stuffing and dress in the store. If you order online, you will still go through the building process, but you will not stop Tom Nook and kiss his heart before he is sewn up. Although many Build-A-Bear plushies require you to purchase a garment separately, the collection of themes like these is usually standard outfits and is usually more expensive. It will be interesting to see if Build-A-Bear offers additional outfits or accessories with the New Horizons theme.

Let’s just hope the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Build-A-Bear roll out smoother than the Sanrio Amiibo cards. Excluding Target, the Sanrio cards sold out almost immediately the other week. It does not help that Target’s website is having trouble updating inventory, which has caused even more frustration. In more positive news about Animal Crossing, the Cherry Blossom season is back in New Horizons until April 10, and a bunch of new seasonal articles are in play.
