Britt Reid, a former Chiefs assistant coach who is Andy Reid’s son, turned himself in to authorities a week ago after being charged with driving while intoxicated. During Super Bowl LV week, Britt Reid was involved in a three-car accident that seriously injured 5-year-old Ariel Young.
There are still many questions about the incident, which the NFL is investigating, and Andy Reid was asked about it on Monday.
“It is clear that my prayers and thoughts are being extended to all involved,” Andy Reid told KMBC News. “Because of the legal situation, I can not talk about it now, but only from a human point of view, I want to extend my heart to those involved.”
