  • Android apps randomly crash on some users.
  • Google has acknowledged the problem and is working on a solution.

Android users have been experiencing random app crashes for the past few hours. Programs like Gmail, Google, Yahoo Mail and others are constantly being shut down and acting illegally. However, Google is aware of the problem and is working on a solution.

In a statement to several publications, a Google spokesperson said: ‘We are aware of an issue with WebView that is causing some apps on Android to crash. We are currently fully validating the scope and a correction is currently underway. ‘

The error appears to be affecting all Android applications using the WebView system component. Google has apparently released a bad update of WebView, which caused the Android app to crash.

Some users found this the problem is solved by removing the latest WebView update or removing WebView. Samsung’s official US support Twitter account also recommends that the update be removed.

If you do not remove the update, try removing WebView. To do this, go to the Google Play Store> My Apps & Games> Installed. Android System WebView should appear in this list of installed apps. Tap on it and press delete. You then need to recharge your Android device for best results.

Remember to reinstall the latest version of WebView as soon as Google fixes the issue. This is an important component that allows programs to display web pages.

In the meantime, if you want to access Gmail, you need to use the desktop interface for now. The company also has
