Samsung is working hard to bring One UI 3 to its smartphone range and shared its update schedule last month. Based on Android 11, these versions include many useful new features, as well as a redesigned notification screen. After spreading some recent devices, it’s finally time for the S10 to start getting its taste, as One UI 3 is starting to land in Switzerland for the Galaxy S10e and S10 5G.

While it’s great to see this update coming, users involved in the One UI 3 S10 beta test would like to note: when the Note20 update arrived, some beta users left up to a week before new OTA has come through. There is a chance that this may again be the case with the S10, in which case users may find happiness in skipping the queue and trying to force an update with their computers. If you have the Samsung Smart Switch PC app, you can use it to install the latest firmware for your phone – there is no guarantee that it will work, but if you’re as impatient as I am, it’s worth it to try it.

So far, Samsung has done a good job of running Android 11 to its devices. It can sometimes be a little slower than we’d like, but the company still beat most of its competition, as well as improving last year’s Android 10 grid.

We will keep this page informed as One UI 3 is introduced to more regions as well as the regular S10 and S10 +.
