Andhra Pradesh CM launches website, the Twitter account AP Fact Check

The Prime Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS .Jagan Mohan Reddy, yesterday unveiled the AP Fact Check website and Twitter account at his camp office. The prime minister said during the event that the state government had launched the website with malicious propaganda in the media and on social media to curb such fake news.
He instructed the authorities to act against such half-truths. He stressed the need to identify where these campaigns originated and take legal action. He said no one should spread false information to mislead people about the welfare schemes that the government takes seriously, and also about the institutions involved.
