Anderson Cooper’s son watching him on TV for the first time is super in love

While the rest of the country can watch CNN’s Anderson Cooper most nights on their TVs, his son, Wyatt Morgan, just got his first look this week.

The veteran news anchor shared a photo of his baby boy who turns 1 this month on Monday night, watching Dad’s host ‘Jeopardy!’

“Wyatt has never seen me on television before, and he probably won’t for long, but apparently he caught a bit of me on @Jeopardy!” Cooper wrote on Instagram.

He said it was a dream to host the program, pay tribute to the late host Alex Trebek and raise funds for Albert Schweitzer Hospital.

During his two weeks, he will raise money for the organization, a hospital in Haiti that helps Artibonite Valley residents seek medical care.

Cooper shared the news of Wyatt’s birth on April 27 via surrogate in a surprise announcement on the air last year. “He’s sweet and gentle and healthy, and I’m happy,” he said at the time.

“Danger!” announced earlier that he will have a series of hosts after a six-week period with star contestant Ken Jennings at the helm. Trebek, who has presented the program for several decades, died in November after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Cooper is no stranger to the game show. He has appeared several times as a participant in ‘Celebrity Jeopardy!’ and said he has been a fan since high school.
