Between us just released on Nintendo Switch in December, but the game has already gotten a fair discount on the platform! From now until February 28, the game is available for only $ 3.50, compared to the normal price of $ 4.99. Discounts are pretty common on the Nintendo Switch eShop, but it’s still amazing to see a title as big as Between us so quickly discounted, which makes the sale pretty noticeable. The game has become one of the biggest surprise hits of 2020, and there has never been a better time for Nintendo fans to see what the fuss is about!
While Between us was released on Switch late last year, the game will be available on other platforms from 2018. The game could not find a large audience for some time, but Between us found a significantly increased audience after Twitch streamers discovered it. Developer InnerSloth has considered creating a sequel Between us, but changed plans after the newfound success of the game. Instead, new features intended for the sequel will now appear in the current game, including support for multiple languages, and the addition of new content, such as the long-awaited Airship Card.
Interested parties who want to buy Between us on Switch should keep in mind that the game requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership, unlike other third-party titles, such as Fortnite. This can eliminate potential buyers who have not yet signed up for Switch’s online service, as it makes it significantly more expensive than other versions of the game, even with the discount (the service costs $ 19.99 for one year). Those already subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online can play the game in both handsets and docked modes, so the Switch version has some advantages. The Switch release can also be crossed with other versions of the game.
