JetBlue and American Airlines announce the launch of the first phase of the Northeast Alliance: the new alliance that will involve the airlines that have been announced this past year.

For its part, JetBlue announced 15 new routes and in conjunction with American Airlines, the two airlines have 33 new routes as part of the first phase of the alliance.
