America finally gets a (almost) new truck

Part-time 4WD part-time shift-on-the-fly features include 2WD, 4HI and 4LO modes, all of which are electronically controlled by the truck’s part-time transmission. Standard Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control on these 4WD models make hill navigation easy on both sides of the equation, while a four-wheel-drive sliding system helps the Frontier conquer slippery, loose surfaces. The funny Pro-4X model with the red accents and LEDs seen here also gets an electronic lock difference, Bilstein field shocks and lower plates. A 2WD Pro model, known as the Pro-X, can also be obtained, but does not do so without the lock and slide plates.

As for the new Frontier as a carrier, it can tow up to 6,720 pounds. To better manage all the shooter is a new Trailer Sway Control that automatically applies brakes when the trailer is detected. With a maximum payload of 1,610 pounds for the 2WD SV, an optional Utili-track duct system in bed uses three “C” cross-sectional tracks, as well as four fixed brackets for the bed, which allow cargo to be pulled in the back of the Frontier self safe and easy. A new tailgate dimmer is standard, as well as two stoplight lights at the rear of the cabin. There are also two LED bedside lights.
