Amazon is trying to make it easier for people to get tested for COVID-19 from the comfort of their own home.
The FDA-authorized test kit called Dxterity is now available on the technology company’s website.
One package is currently available for $ 110, or you can get a 10-pack for $ 1000.
The box contains an empty saliva tube that you sent with prepaid shipping to a Los Angeles lab.
According to Amazon’s website, the time for test results is between 24 and 72 hours after the sample is received.
Authorization for emergencies for the test was given last month.
This is the first saliva test at home to receive FDA emergency approval for symptomatic and asymptomatic tests.
