Amazon deal lowers top noise-canceling headphones below $ 100

Today’s Dealmaster is at the forefront of Anker’s Soundcore Life Q30, as the wireless headphones are currently available for $ 68 at various retailers. This is $ 12 off the normal running rate of the device online and only $ 4 higher than the lowest price we can find.

While we recently praised the $ 200 Puro Pro headphones, the Soundcore Life Q30 is a great choice for those who can’t spend that much. We have not formally reviewed the headphones on the website, but we plan to make it a budget choice in an upcoming guide to wireless noise canceling headphones. For less than $ 100, they offer a comfortable design that fills well and is light on the head (if heavy on plastic), a great battery life that can last longer than 40 hours per charge (depending on volume), USB C-load, physical volume and playback controls, and easy multidevice pairing.

In terms of sound quality, the Soundcore Life Q30 has a ‘V-shaped’ signature, meaning they emphasize the bass and treble ranges at the expense of a bit of midrange detail. The bass is especially emphasized, so many hip-hop and pop tracks will have a serious hit. The headphones are certainly not a device for sound purists who like their cans to be as faithful as possible to the recording quality of a song, but if you prefer a more excited sound (and many do), the Soundcore Life Q30 offers it without sounding sloppy. What’s more, Anker’s companion app has a graphical EQ with several presets that allow you to adjust the sound into something brighter or more flat.

Although the active noise cancellation of the headphones is not as effective as that of the Sony WH-1000XM4, it can still attenuate a significant amount of low noise (eg an aircraft car or rumbling train) while maintaining a noticeable level of higher cut out. -loud sounds. The noise cancellation also includes a “transparency” mode that mixes outside noise with your music without overpowering it as well. Again, it is not as smooth as similar features on more expensive pairs, and it has a more noticeable effect on the sound quality of the headphones. But considering that the Soundcore Life Q30 costs a quarter of the price, it’s all close enough to offer great value.
