As one of the world’s best-earning e-commerce platforms, Amazon is more than retail services: revenue streams for the technology giant also include Kindle, Audible and Music subscriptions, as well as its subsidiary AWS for IT service management.

To gain an understanding of Amazon’s revenue streams: Online product and digital media sales account for 50% of net revenue for the whole of 2019, followed by commissions, related fulfillment and shipping fees and other third-party seller services (19%).

Next in revenue streams is Amazon Web Services’ cloud computing, storage and database services (13%). Prime membership fees and other subscription services (7%), product sales at Whole Foods and other physical store formats (6%) and advertising services and co-brand credit cards (5%) reduce Amazon’s revenue streams.

Seventy-two percent of Benzinga retailers and investors told us that Amazon would reach $ 4,000 a share by the end of next year.

Traders and investors who participated in our study said that Amazon shares will be strong until 2021, given the increased demand for products and services following the pandemic.

Many respondents reported that they viewed Amazon as a technology venture in the first place.

According to them, the impressive diversification of revenue streams through subscription services like Amazon Prime; digital streaming; as well as AWS cloud computing platforms for businesses, will ensure that the shares of the FAANG share reach at least $ 4,000 by 2022.
