PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Department of Health announced Thursday that they will begin administering the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine at the Castle Shannon Clinic next week.

The province’s health department has received four shots of the vaccination for first shots, and although it is a two-shot series, the second shot can be given in a window of 21 to 42 days.
Limited first dose appointments will be available at the Castle Shannon premises for people aged 65 and over and only the week of 1 March.

Entries to get the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine at the Castle Shannon VFD Banquet Hall will be open on the country’s website today at 9am.
No hiking or registration on site is allowed and anyone who does not meet the criteria will be turned away.
