Jennifer Lopez sang during the inauguration of Joe Biden, and her fiancé – former MLB All-Star Alex Rodriguez – accompanied her on a wonderful time.
Rodriguez documented his day on Instagram, which began with a video of his seat on the Capitol and a selfie with a suit that matches the uniform of his former team.
“Pinstripes for life,” the former Yankee wrote.
He then posted a photo of himself and J-Lo on the steps of the Capitol, with the caption ‘2021’, with hearts and an American flag emoji.
A-Rod was caught on camera several times during the inauguration, and social media showed the fun of the strangeness of seeing him on stage during such an important event.
“At least once a year I put on a national event and a-rod will somehow just be there for some reason and fulfill his destiny as a baseball’s bush bulge,” wrote ESPN’s Joon Lee.
Chris McNeil, a personality of the Cleveland Browns, photographed A-Rod in the portrait of the Founding Fathers who signed the Declaration of Independence.
