Vaccine COVID-19 vaccine (UPDATE)

The Washington Department of Health (DOH) has determined that the following groups can be vaccinated:

  • Healthcare workers
  • First responders with high risk
  • Residents of long-term care facilities
  • All people older than 65 years (NEWLY ADDED)
  • All people over the age of 50 who cannot live independently (NEWLY ADDED)

If you are eligible, you can find the nearest vaccine provider at: doh.wa.gov/YouandYourFamily/Immunization/VaccineLocations. Whether you are telephonic or online, you may experience long waits to plan your appointment. Please be patient. There may be vaccine shortages now, but we expect this to change soon.

City of Seattle Free COVID-19 Review

  • The Seattle City, King county, en YOUR Medicine offers free COVID-19 tests for people who live, work, or visit Seattle regularly. In- and door-testing is available. You must first register online or by telephone. If you have medical insurance, it is free to bring your insurance card or proof of insurance. Language interpretation is available. City of Seattle Hygiene, toilet and shower Facility card

  • The City of Seattle has conducted extensive accounting of every availability funded by the city. The Hygiene Map of the Department of Human Services contains all places that are open and will be updated weekly.

Seattle Protects (access to canvas face coverings)

Seattle Hospitality Worker Emergency Fund (UPDATE)

  • The Seattle City has with Wellspring Family Services to provide one-off cash assistance to meet the basic needs of hospitality industry workers affected by the COVID-19 crisis. The deadline for the application has been extended to 15 February 2021. To find out more and apply, go to: hospitality.wellspringfs.org.

Renewed Federal Lighting for Small Businesses

A new federal stimulus package was signed into law on December 27, 2020, which includes key changes:
