Alaska Airlines passenger allegedly fined $ 250,000 for behavior he claims he does not remember

It must have been one of the worst hangovers ever.

A passenger flying on an Alaskan Airlines flight claims he does not remember behaving aggressively towards a member of the flight crew. Unfortunately for him, his actions could violate federal law and he could face several years in prison and a hefty fine.

The incident allegedly took place on March 9 on an Alaskan Airlines flight from Seattle to Denver.

The incident occurred on a flight from Alaskan Airlines from Seattle to Denver on March 9, USA Today reported. According to the newspaper, the FBI arrested Landon Grier when the flight landed due to the behavior of the passenger in the plane.

Grier allegedly admitted to agents that he drank several beers and several shots of alcohol before boarding the plane. He apparently fell asleep on the flight and woke up from flight attendants shouting at him because he was talking in his seat.

While apparently being chased out, however, Grier allegedly hit an air hostess who asked him several times to put on his mask, which apparently fell off while he was sleeping.

Grier reportedly told federal agents he had no recollection of this.

Unfortunately for Grier, he is facing federal charges of interfering with a flight crew and servicemen. This charge carries a maximum term of 20 years in prison and a possible fine of $ 250,000, regardless of whether he remembers it or not.

In a statement obtained by Fox News, a spokeswoman for Alaska Airlines said: “The safety of our guests and our crew is our top priority. We will not disrupt our aircraft or any of our airports. “We do not tolerate. We appreciate the efforts of our dedicated teams who are committed every day to keeping travel safe and respectful.”
