Alabama fullback Najee Harris helped put together an impressive season for the Crimson Tide, showing exactly what he brings to the table on offense that gives defense headaches.
Harris used the Crimson Tide for another power play in the first quarter when he properly hampered a prospective Notre Dame attack. Harris ran 53 yards and bounced back Nick McCloud, the defensive back of the Irish War.

In the next play, Alabama quarterback Mac Jones played a play-action pass and found tight end Jahleel Billingsley wide open in the left corner of the end zone. It looks like the Notre Dame defense has moved to cover the dangerous Devonta Smith, leaving Billingsley open.
Alabama led 14-0 at the end of the first quarter of the Rose Bowl Game – the host of the College Football Playoff semifinals.

Jones paired with Smith earlier in the first quarter for a 26-yard pass. Both of Alabama’s first two slides resulted.

Harris had all three runs for 79 yards in the game.

Alabama is one of the last undefeated teams in college football. The offense is led by the true three-headed monster in Jones, Harris and Smith, who apparently had no problem with Notre Dame early on.
