AG Martin makes her case; Krendler is not impressed

With CBS ‘pseudo-sequel spin-off of Thomas Harris‘The Silence of the Lambs’ premiered on Thursday. The network offers viewers three new previews for Clarice. A year after her ‘claim to fame’ case came to fruition, she sued serial killer ‘Buffalo Bill’ (and Dr. Hannibal Lecter), Agent Starling (Rebecca Rasse) returns to the FBI with skills that align her more with the evils she hunts (and those who hunt her). But these skills also force her to confront personal memories from her past that she prefers to remain buried.

In the following clips, Attorney General Ruth Martin (Jayne Atkinson) relies on her family’s experiences with Starling in the past to persuade her to join the VICAP (Violent Criminal Apprehension Program) in the investigation into three serial murders. From there, viewers see Starling arrive on the scene for the first time with VICAP – and it does not sound like Krendler’s (Michael Cudlitz) impressed by the reputation that Starling brings.
