After one month, Cyberpunk 2077 is 50% off on the console, 33% off on the computer

The good version of Cyberpunk 2077 is now more expensive than the bad versions, so everything is as it should be, right? After a failed waterfall of a launch, the game received a notable discount only one week after release. Now, a month later, the discount has become even greater, especially on the console.

You can now get the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version Cyberpunk 2077 for $ 29.99 USD in various retailers, a full 50% discount on the original sale price. Selling at Best Buy seems like a daily transaction, but since then the price has been matched by other retailers, including Amazon.

The retail PC version, which is basically a GOG code plus classic physical goodies, is also discounted by 33% on Amazon, lowering the price to $ 39.99. These are of course just US prices, and although the game is discounted on Amazon UK, the savings are much less.

Games these days are discounting fast, regardless of quality, and you should not always take ‘days on sale’ as a measure of the quality of any title. However, it seems pretty clear that the console versions of Cyberpunk are at least currently very low.

The messy launch of Cyberpunk 2077 is back in the news after the holiday season, as the developers announced that the free DLC will be delayed until the big spots are fixed. A new report claimed management was weak, a ‘fake’ E3 demo, and more, and CD Project responded to second-class investor action.
