AEW Dynamite Viewership and Ratings For Brodie Lee Tribute

Wednesday night’s issue of AEW Dynamite contains a long tribute to the late Jon Huber (Brodie Lee). According to a report by the Pro wrestling torch, the program drew 977 000 viewers during the evening, which was a big increase compared to what the program drew a week before (775 000). The number was also significantly higher than the viewing that WWE NXT drew on the USA Network head to head (586,000). Due to the nature of the show, AEW was expected to win the viewer battle dramatically on the evening.

In the popular demographic age group of 18-49 years old, AEW Dynamite achieved a 0.40 rating, which was higher than the 0.32 that the broadcast did last week. NXT achieved a rating of 0.12 in this demo.

We usually rely on Showbuzz Daily for the official Nielsen ratings and figures. Due to the holiday, however, the numbers will be delayed until Monday. The Torch is a reliable outlet for ratings and we have no reason to doubt this.

Dynamite was an intensely emotional show. You can see all the tributes broadcast from AEW staff in honor of Brodie Lee on this link.
