With the rest of Final Fantasy VII is newly mastered, reloaded, or recreate, it would be stupid if the computer-animated fixing film did not get its future. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced today the 4K Ultra HD remaster of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, complete with HDR support and Dolby Atmos bilingual audio. So fancy.
The new 4K version is a new version of 2009’s Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, which added 25 minutes to the original film’s run time, revised a ton of scenes and dug a little deeper into Cloud’s development. All this, remastered in 4K with HDR10, and new English and Japanese audio tracks.
The release contains two discs. This is what there is:
4K Ultra HD disc
- Newly rasterized in 4K, with HDR10
- Brand new English and Japanese Dolby Atmos soundtracks + English and Japanese 5.1 sound
Blu-Ray
- Feature presented in HD
- Towards a Smile – Episode: Denzel Animated film
- Remembrance of FINAL FANTASY VII Original Story Digest
- Reminiscence of FINAL FANTASY VII Compilation Story Digest

Long story short, the handsome men flying through the air with their swords will be a little more beautiful on June 8th.
