A Chinese woman found more than one daughter-in-law at her son’s wedding last month – when she discovered that the bride was actually her biological child.
The woman noticed for the first time at the wedding on March 31 that her son’s bride has a characteristic birthmark on one of her hands – just like the child she gave up for adoption years ago, reports the Oriental Daily.
The astonished woman turns to the bride’s parents and asks, ‘Did you happen to adopt your daughter?’ Said the exhaust valve.
The bride’s parents answered yes and revealed a secret they had kept from everyone for more than 20 years: they had found their daughter along the way.
Tears and hugs followed everywhere at the wedding in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
The ceremony was allowed – even though the bride’s biological mother was also the mother of the groom.
This is because the mother of the groom adopted her son as a baby after giving up her daughter, so the love couple is not biologically related.
