If you’re from Brian Matiash, this amazing video looks at Adobe’s new Super Resolution feature, which promises to double the number of pixels in both the horizontal and vertical dimensions, thus quadrupling the overall resolution – a literal “improvement” ” -button. Such a feature has a wide range of potential uses. Nature or sports photographers, who often have to cut photos significantly, can use them to restore detail in images. People who shoot with low-resolution sensors can use it to make large-scale prints. Landscape photographers can use it to simply give more detail to a shot. After being trained in millions of images, it appears that the tool has serious potential and may eventually become a popular feature for a wide range of photographers.
