Social media superstar Addison Rae is breathlessly regarded as a whole new kind of celebrity for the Instagram Age.
But in some ways, it seems, she uses the same old tricks as her old ancestors.
Rae (20) has been in New York lately, and although she certainly produced a lot of her own #content for her own social feeds, Page Six is told – in a step directly from the introductory course at the Kardashian Institute or Advanced Fame Lawn – her team also named the usual paparazzi about her place where she was.
And it seems to work. Although we are told that she stayed in a relatively out-of-the-box hotel – as in none of the porridge hangouts like the Mercer on the Greenwich – she was nevertheless cut all over town.
We are told that Rae is particularly interested in making sure that her style is well documented by the press.
Rae’s prehistoric ancestors – who mastered the use of rough stone tools and BlackBerrys – were known for exploiting the then thriving porridge industry by calling their favorite photos at Fred Segal’s against the fall of a Von-Dutch pet.
Rae is an acquaintance of the Kardashian family, so maybe she got tips.
