Acer’s new Predator Triton 300 SE is an ultra-powerful, ultra-light laptop

Intel and Nvidia have both announced new computer parts that promise a new wave of ultra-light gaming computers with incredible power. And Acer is already here to make the promises come true with its new Predator Triton 300 SE laptop, a 17.9mm thin, 3.75-pound laptop that can be configured with Intel’s new 5GHz i7-11375H processor and Nvidia’s latest RTX 3060 GPU.

But best of all? Acer is dropping the rough, colorful lights and logos on the Predator Triton 300 for a more subdued – I dare say – professional – metallic design that will not be out of place in an office or classroom not while still offering the best carving game hardware on the inside.

In addition to the high-end Intel chips and Nvidia GPUs, the Predator Triton 300 SE also offers a 14-inch FHD panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and HDMI ports for connectivity. While it may offer a work computer, there is still plenty of PC touch work to do, including a three-zone RGB keyboard, Intel’s Killer 6AX1650 Wi-Fi, and Acer’s Predator fan speed management software package.

The new Predator Triton 300 SE starts at $ 1,399.99 (though Acer has not yet said what specifications you will get for the price) when it launches in February.
